Gifts & Memorials
The Friends of Fondren Library, through members' contributions and sponsorship of a program of memorials and honor gifts, provides funds for the purchase of books, manuscripts, and electronic materials that are needed to support teaching and research at the university.
The Friends have a Gifts and Memorial packet designed to assist you in making a donation to the program. Your gift in honor of the birthday or anniversary of family or friends, in celebration of a special event, or in memory of a loved one, will be used to enhance the collection of Fondren Library.
Generous support from individuals like you from throughout the community enables us to provide excellent resources for the Rice University students and the library patrons.
Under Internal Revenue Service guidelines the estimated value of the benefits received is not substantial; therefore, the full amount of your payment is a deductible contribution.
