Library Service Center Landscaping

Descriptions & images of the plantings

While the perimeter of the South Annex campus is planted with the Rice-traditional live oak, the Rice University Board of Regents and administration made a conscious decision to seek a more diverse range of plant types in the landscaping of the buildings on the Annex. Each building will have its own landscaping "ecology," with that of the Library Service Center planned and implemented by James Burnett Landscape Architecture.
