Staff Association
The Staff Association organizes social and educational activities and functions, promotes the well-being of its members, advances the interests of the library, and facilitates a greater awareness of the library's role within the university community.

Standing Committees
The Staff Association has three standing committees that plan and carry out our various endeavours. The strength of our organization depends on the work of volunteers in each committee. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the chair(s ) of the appropriate commitee. The names of the committees offer a good idea of their duties, but look at the Standing Committees section of our bylaws for more information.
Work Environment Committee
Membership: Andy Damico, Joe Hatfield (ex officio member), Veronica Huitrado (Chair), Bob Sabin.
Activities & Events Committee
Membership: Rosalba Benavides, Debra Cosby, German Diaz (CoChair), Denis Galvin, Barbara Hairston, John Hunter, Nancy Infante, Larry Jines, Debra Kolah , James Springer (Co-Chair), Cathy Wilson.

Meetings
The Staff Association holds meetings twice a year, usually in mid December and late May or June.
