Complete unpublished manuscript of 38 leaves entitled "Ensayo sobre la reduccion y colonizacion de las tribas barbaras del continente" by Francisco Frejes (1784-1845). The essay describes the activities of the Church in 16th c. Mexico relative to the Indian population.
