- These records consist of correspondence, memos, organizational and reading lists, and budget information regarding the American Defense Group. The Group was made up of professors from three California insitutions. The professors assisted the American war effort during World War II.

- Anderson, Ralph Jr. Papers. 1860-1989 (MS 413)
- Houston-born Ralph Anderson Jr. (1923-1990) studied architecture at Rice Institute and earned a bachelor's degree in 1943. The papers from 1860-1989 cover a broad spectrum of Ralph Anderson's life, including his family, school, university years, his combat service in World War II with the U.S. Army, and his professional life as an architect. 10.25 cubic feet (with an additional .75 cu. ft in vault).
