All media and periods of art and architectural history are represented
in the Brown Fine Arts Library with particular emphasis upon Western
European, American art and architecture, archaeology of the Greco-Roman
world, Islamic art and architecture, Chinese and Japanese art and architecture. Journals,
bibliographies, catalogue raisonnes, museum collections catalogues, and
many exhibition catalogues do not circulate.
