Commercial Database
- Kid Search -- Searches across a broad range of subjects, including magazines, books and reference tools. Students can locate articles, biographies, radio & TV transcripts, photos, maps, flags and a variety of primary documents. The Kids Search interface includes several databases, including: Primary Search, Middle Search, TOPICsearch, Newspaper Source, EBSCO Animals, and Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. Access to curriculum standards is available through the "Teacher Resources" link. Grades K-8; results can be limited by Lexile/grade level reading score.
