- USPTO Patent Search Templates -- Templates developed by the USPTO that define the field of search, search tools and search methodologies for many classification areas.
- U.S. Alien Property Custodian Documents: Patent Applications Published During WWII -- Beta site containing bibliographic data for 2,964 patent applications published by the USPTO in 1943. Most of the applications were owned by nationals of enemy and enemy-occupied nations. More than 50% were eventually abandoned, but the documents are considered prior art and have been cited in about 1,200 patents since 1947.

- Scitopia.org -- Free federated search portal containing the electronic libraries of thirteen leading science and technology societies. Includes 150 years of peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings. Offers full-text articles searchable by article title or author name. Researchers at institutions with subscriptions to the content are automatically authenticated and can access the content directly. Also offers a pay-per-view option for researchers at institutions who do not subscribe to the content. Patent researchers can use a keyword search to locate patents on Esp@cenet, the Japan Patent Office, and the USPTO.
