Historic Records of Jesse Jones Archived in Woodson

The historic records of Jesse Jones (1874-1956), one of the nation's most powerful appointed officials during the Great Depression and World War II and one of Houston's pre-eminent developers during the first half of the 20th century, are now archived at Rice University's Fondren Library.



Francis Poulenc Archive Arrives at Fondren

Fondren Library announces the acquisition of the Rose Lambiotte Family Francis Poulenc Archive, consisting of original autograph musical manuscripts, signed and inscribed printed scores, autograph letters and related material.

Rice University’s Fondren Library partnered with Ithaka S+R to administer an online survey in Spring 2015 to inform and improve library services. Faculty were surveyed on three topics, including: Digital Research Activities, Data Preservation & Management, and Discovery.
