FAQ (Frequent Asked Questions )


1. What do I need to do before I can check out any item from the DMC?
A first time borrower is required to come in the DMC to fill in an online DMC Borrower's Agreement Form before checking out any item. Patron must also have set up a library account and pin at the Fondren circulation desk.

2. What is the due day?
Equipment checked out any day between Sunday and Thursday will be due the following day at 3:00 p.m. Equipment checked out Friday or Saturday will be due the following Monday at 10:30 a.m.

  1. 3. Can I renew the item and how?
  2. Patrons can renew a piece of equipment TWICE if the item is not overdue AND it has not been reserved by someone else. They can either come in in person or call 713/348-3635 to renew it.(note: if a patron has over $5.00 fine on his/her library account, no item will be allowed to renew or check out to him/her until the fine is paid off.)
