Description of GIS taining options for Rice community.
- The GIS/Data Center offers a number of "2-hour Short Courses" each semester. These courses are taught in our GIS/Data Center classroom and contain a topic overview and hands-on training. Please register at http://library.rice.edu/services/gdc/helpform

- The GIS/Data Center also offers customized classes and workshops for small groups and courses at Rice. Contact us to inquire about a class.
- GIS/Data Center Support staff is available to provide individual GIS training and/or research consultations. Make an appointment at http://library.rice.edu/services/gdc/helpform
- The department of Earth Science also offers regular courses in Geographic information science and remote sensing. Contact Dr. Dale Sawyer for more details.
- Rice University has a site license for ESRI products. Through this site license, the Rice Community (faculty, staff, and students) has free access to Online GIS Training from ESRI's Virtual Campus. Please visit our center and we will provide you with codes to access the Virtual Campus
