Introduction to R

This course will cover the foundational elements of coding in R including understanding the interface and syntax of R as well as basic techniques for storing and manipulating data sets in R.

Zoom Workshop "Advanced Illustrator: Bioscience Illustration" PART 1

PART 1: Participants will start by creating a single cell, define a pattern brush, then use that pattern to make a membrane wall. Participants will then cut out sections of the membrane wall and add proteins to the illustration.

This class will cover the basics of editing videos in iMovie, with a specific focus on preparing videos for online teaching applications. Topics covered include cutting clips, transitions, and basic audio editing.

Zoom Workshop "Advanced Illustrator: Bioscience Illustration" PART 2

PART 2: Participants will start with membrane wall already made from pattern brush. The wall will be "expanded" to create editable cells. Individual cells will be moved and deleted to make room for a ubiquinone.

R Visualization and Data Manipulation

This course will build upon the basics of R and introduce basic forms of data visualization techniques in R as well as more advanced forms of data manipulation that weren't covered in the introductory class through use of for loops and if statements.

Zoom Workshop: Managing Your Citations with Zotero

This hands-on workshop will introduce some of the key functions of Zotero, including installation of the Zotero, adding citations to your Zotero library, organizing and managing your citations, searching your collections, producing bibliographies, and using the Microsoft Word plug-in to easily insert citations from Zotero into your documents, and syncing your collections.
