Winner of Fondren's Candy Corn Count

Undergraduate Faraz Asim won the prize with a guess of 3069. The next closest guess was 3023. The jar contains a grand total of 3113 pieces of candy corn.

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month Sept 15-Oct 15

Check out Access Services' Hispanic Heritage Book exhibition. The featured books, ranging from history, social and political movements (ie. the Grape Strike and Chicano Movement), classic Latin American novels in both English and Spanish (ie. One Hundred Years of Solitude, House on Mango Street), contemporary LatinX novels (Cantoras, I am not your perfect Mexican Daughter), some memoirs (ie. My Beloved World by Sonia Sotomayor), stories of migration and the US policy, art, movies (CHE, Selena) and more. 

The display will be up through October 15th near the Circulation Desk and the west entrance.
