Increasingly journals and funders require researchers to share data from their research. By sharing their data, researchers can contribute to knowledge, facilitate reproducible research, and increase their likelihood of being cited. How can you prepare to share your datasets, and where can you share them? What should you consider in selecting a data repository? This interactive workshop will provide an overview of major data repositories (including the Rice Digital Scholarship Archive), explore criteria for selecting a repository, discuss the FAIR Data principles, and provide tips for preparing datasets for sharing.
