Legal Research: Introduction to WestLaw

This training session is part of a new Kelley Center series of government information literacy instruction - Unlocking the Power of Governnent Information.

This course provides you introduction and hands-on training to get you started to use the WestLaw database to do legal research. It is offered by Kelley Center for Government Information partnered with the WestLaw Representative. The training should be especially valuable for the students who plan to take law classes and/or pursuing pre-law track.

Attendee Eligibility

The WestLaw is a licenced commercial database. It is only free accessible for Rice affiliates, so this training is only open to the Rice affiliates.
