Two Essential Research Tools - GovInfo.gov and GPO's Catalog of Government Publications

  • govinfo.gov is the official gateway that can provide free access to online full text of more than 1 million official publications from all the three branches of U.S. federal government, current and historic content.
  • The CGP is the official national catalog of U.S. Federal Government publications.

Both tools are created and updated daily by the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) - the only federal agency that is legally authorized to publish all federal agencies' publications.
