Woman riveting sheet metal

Women's History Month commemorates and encourages the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. It also serves as a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.

The display showcases biographies and memoirs of couragous women, books on feminism from the suffragettes to the #metoo era, and powerhouse women in science, media, social justice, politics, art and the literary world.

Visit the featured bookshelf, across from Circulation, through the end of March.
