Navigating United Nations Data and Information Resources

The United Nations is an international organization which presently focuses on peace and security, human rights, humanitarian aid, sustainable development and climate issues, and international law. The United Nations is part of the UN system which comprises various programs, funds, and specialized agencies, many of which publish their data and research. This training session will cover:

  • About the United Nations, United Nations main bodies and UN documents
  • UN Official Document System
  • UN Digital Library and iLibrary
  • UNData

This training session is developed as part of a new Kelley Center series of government information literacy instruction - Unlocking the Power of Governnent Information.

This workshop is free and open to Rice and the general public community.
