Fondren Library is located on Rice’s academic quad across from Lovett Hall. Visitors should enter at the East (quad) entrance and be prepared to show identification. To locate Fondren on the Rice campus, please see Rice Campus Maps.
MetroRail
Take the Red Line to Hermann Park / Rice U, then cross Main Street to enter the Rice campus.
Bus
Several Metro bus stops are within walking distance of the Rice campus, including the 28 and 56 lines.
Cycling and skateboarding
Bicycle and skateboard racks are located near the East and West entrances to Fondren Library.
Rice Shuttle
You may take a shuttle to get around the Rice campus. Stops 7 and 14 (which serve both the Inner Loop and Greater Loop shuttles) are closest to Fondren.
Parking
