Exploring Generative AI Media Tools for Academic Use

Generative AI is rapidly becoming a part of our daily lives, with many emerging tools and applications that can help us with a wide variety of tasks. This short course focuses on generative AI media tools, specifically Adobe Firefly, and what uses and benefits it offers in an academic setting. Topics covered will include:

  • Prompt engineering
  • Practical uses of existing generative AI media tools
  • Overview of planned tools coming out in the near future
  • Ethical or legal implications of generative AI media tools
  • Advised/unadvised use of generative AI media tools
