Introduction to ArcGIS Field Maps

Prerequisites: Intro to ArcGIS Online or familiarity with GIS.

ArcGIS Field Maps is an application that lets you capture or create data out in the real world using your smartphone or another GNSS device. Learn the basic functions of Field Maps, how to create a map with Field Maps designer, how to build a form for spatial data collection, and then how to use that form in the field. Depending on the weather, we will be walking around the Rice Academic Quad practicing collecting data for a portion of this training. Please bring your Apple or Android smartphone for data collection in this short course.
