About
This 1.5-hour training session is hosted by Fondren Library’s Kelley Center for Government Information Resources & Civic Engagement and presented in partnership with the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office.
These in-person sessions will be 30 minutes longer than Harris County’s virtual training and will include bonus content specifically for Rice VDVRs. In addition to the official VDVR training, the Kelley Center will introduce Fondren Library civic engagement resources and services to help Rice VDVRs stay informed and actively participate in—or even organize—their own voter registration events. The sessions also provide an opportunity to connect with fellow Rice VDVRs and boost your motivation. If you follow the instructions on the registration page and register on time, you will receive your VDVR certificate immediately at the end of the onsite training.
