The Fondren Library Green Team and the Office of Sustainability are excited to celebrate Campus Sustainability Month with a free book swap for the Rice community. Join us in giving books a second life, discovering new reads, and connecting with fellow book lovers on campus.
Early Donations
Dates: Wednesday, October 21 – Monday, October 26
Collection Points: Cambridge Office Building Reception Desk and Fondren Library Service Desk
Donation Guidelines
Books donated for the swap should follow the guidelines below:
- Hardback and paperback books only (no magazines, newspapers, journals, etc.)
- Fiction and nonfiction books are welcome, including children's and young adult titles
- Textbooks are accepted
- Books should be in good condition and free from excessive highlighting, annotations, or damage
- If donating four or more books, please place them in a box or bag when dropping them off
