You are invited to join us to celebrate U.S. Constitution Day on September 16! Free and open to the public! Bring a friend with you. Featured activities include:

Vote

Voter Registration Tables
Time: 2pm-4:30pm
Location 1: outside between Brochstein and Fondren Library (if weather permits). Rainy day: Inside near Circulation Desk, 1st floor, Fondren Library

Location 2: near the glass display cases to the left of the office of Friends of Fondren at the Quad Side entrance, 1st floor, Fondren Library
Certified Voter Registrars will be available to assist you.

Express yourself

Time: 9am-5pm

  • What does the Constitution mean to you?
  • How has your community been impacted by the 15th and 19th amendments, which guarantee all citizens the right to vote regardless of race or gender?
  • How can you help the US achieve the important tenets of the 15th and 19th amendments--the right for everyone to vote regardless of race or gender?
  • What constitutional right is most important to you, and why?
