The Kelley Center has created an online research guide "Shutdown Alternatives" to help you find alternative ways to search for and access government publications.
GOVERNMENT INFORMATION refers to any information disseminated by a government agency (local, state, tribal, federal, foreign, or international), as well as information generated by non-government entities but sponsored by government funds. These resources include research articles, reports, data and statistics, books, maps, databases, standards, policies, laws, and regulations, as well as both current and historical publications dating back to the founding of the United States.
The Kelley Center has also created an online resource guide, "Post-Election Resources." This guide may be helpful in tracking the post-election process, including official publications and changes being made by the new Trump administration, e.g. tracking Trump's executive actions, immigration policy and other federal policy watch, climate backtracker, etc. Click the link to explore the guide and learn more.
To suggest a link or report a broken link, feel free to email me - Anna Xiong, jax2@rice.edu or govhelp@rice.edu.
The Kelley Center can always provide individual research consultancy or group instruction via Zoom or in person on how to locate and access these government resources.
