The World Bank is an international organization that provides financing, advice, and research to developing countries. The organization’s websites hold a wealth of research resources and data banks that may be useful to those interested in issues related to poverty measurement, delivery of social services, trade, migration, and a whole range of other topics related to development.
This is a hands on training workshop that gives a more in depth overview hoping to provide useful points of departure for users looking for development information. You will also get a chance to practice using World Bank data under guidance during the session to get started to use this powerful resource.
