Introducing Government Data and Statistics Information Resources - Zoom

This training session is part of a new Kelley Center series of government information literacy instruction - Unlocking the Power of Governnent Information.

This training session will introduce about:

  • Who collects data
  • How statistics are gathered
  • Statistical programs of the U.S. government
  • The primary statistical agencies
  • Recommended strategies for finding U.S. government statistical information

Audience Eligibility

This course is free and open to everyone, including the general public.

Registration

Advance registration is required. Please register online. If you need to cancel your reservation, please send an email to jax2@rice.edu, so people on the waiting list can take the class.

It is your responsibility to notify the instructor if you will no longer be able to attend.

If you miss a course without notifying staff by the day of the course, your registration for all future courses will be canceled.
