Kelley Center Visitors

It is always best to contact the Kelley Center before visiting in-person; FDLP staff may not be available to assist you due to previous engagements. Please call (713) 348-5483 or email govhelp@rice.edu for an appointment, so we may prepare for your visit. 

Where is Kelley Center?
The Kelley Center Office Suite is located in the office suite B38, Fondren Library's basement.

Office Public Hours: 
M-F 9:30am-4:30pm. (Note: Our staff availability and schedule are subject to change. Refer to the top of this web page for updates.) To avoid conflicts, make an appointment; staff will also be better prepared to help you.

  • Kelley Center Information Desk: Basement, Fondren Library. (Please visit the Desk Schedule on Kelley Center's home page)
  • Kelley Center tangible collections and equipment: They are in the public area. You are welcome to use them; no staff permission is needed. They are easily accessible any time Fondren Library is open. Floor maps, public signs, and paper instructions are near collections and equipment to guide you. If you notice anything on the Kelley Center maps, public signs, or paper instructions that needs clarification or updating, please email govhelp@rice.edu. We will work on it.
