In this workshop, you will learn about:

• Publishing services at Fondren Library.
• Choosing the right journal: Tips for finding the best fit and avoiding predatory publishers.
• Manuscript preparation: Key steps to write and submit a strong paper.
• Peer review and ethics: Understanding the peer review process and essential ethical guidelines.

Rice University Fondren Library is now providing Overleaf Professional to students, faculty and staff. 

Overleaf is an online collaborative scientific writing and publishing tool. It is designed to make the process of writing, editing, and producing scientific papers much quicker for authors. 

All Rice students, staff and faculty are invited to participate.  Welcome to all levels of Overleaf users from beginners to expert! No prior LaTeX experience is required.
