Overview:
The Center for Research Computing (CRC) maintains specialized computing services and infrastructure to meet the research needs of the Rice community. This hour-long workshop will introduce you to the CRC's services and computing resources, including:
- High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters
- Research data storage and high-speed transfer
- Secure enclaves for working with regulated data
- Procurement and management of researcher-owned systems
- Pathways to cloud and national computing resources
- Data analytics, visualization and mapping services
- Consulting, training, and application support services
