Overview:

Learn basic skills for working with Linux based systems.

A 3 hour, in depth workshop where you can learn basic skills for working with powerful, distributed computing resources, including:

  • The bash shell, navigating and managing files in Linux
  • Secure Shell for remote access to systems
  • Understanding data storage in Linux
  • Redirection, pipes, loops and scripts for automation
