Introduction to Rice’s RAPID cluster for machine learning

Overview:

This course will cover Rice's interactive machine learning platform, RAPID, and will include:

  • Overview of RAPID resources, features and architecture
  • How to get RAPID accounts
  • RAPID scheduler, job types, resource quotas
  • RAPID/RunAI dashboard tour
  • Integrating RAPID with Rice data storage resources
  • Demonstration of Tensorflow/Jupyter Notebook with a simple machine learning application
