Fondren Library's East Entrance welcomes thousands of students, faculty, researchers, and visitors each year, but the current entrance presents accessibility and circulation challenges. A planned renovation will create a more welcoming and accessible gateway to the library through improvements to the entrance ramp, doors and turnstiles, lighting, reception area, and pathways into the building. The project will improve accessibility, safety, wayfinding, and the overall arrival experience while preserving the character of this important campus landmark. Donor support will help ensure that Fondren's primary entrance reflects the library's commitment to providing a welcoming environment for everyone who comes through its doors.
