2026 Fall Microsoft Excel Training - Part 1

About

This Fondren Library Microsoft Excel Training series is designed to equip participants with fundamental skills to effectively use Microsoft Excel in their daily tasks. The complete training consists of three parts. 

This is the Part 1, which covers creating and opening file, saving and sharing, and working with cells (modifying, formatting, understanding number formats, working with multiple sheets, finding and replacing, freezing panes and view opitions, sorting and filtering, groups and subtotals).

Political Media Literacy

Fondren Library Kelley Center for Government Information offers this 1.5 hours hands on training workshop, which will be hosted at Fondren Library. 

Light refreshments will be available.

About the workshop

This workshop explores the role of media in shaping public perception and civic engagement. Participants will learn how to critically evaluate news sources, recognize bias and fake news, and understand our own impact through social media interactions.
